Despite its arid and harsh landscape, Rajasthan is a traveler’s delight and one of the most vibrant and colorful regions in India. With its majestic forts, golden sand dunes, ancient temples, lively fairs and festivals, and rich tribal culture, Rajasthan promises an unforgettable and enchanting experience throughout your journey.
Day 1 : Arrive In New Delhi
Arrive at New Delhi International Airport, where our representative will be waiting outside the customs area to assist you to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : In New Delhi
New Delhi, the capital of India, boasts a rich and vibrant history. From the Mughal era in the 17th century to the end of British rule in 1947, Delhi served as the seat of power for many empires. In 1649, Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan founded Shahjahanabad, which is now known as Old Delhi.
Your day begins with a tour of Old Delhi. Visit the magnificent Red Fort, constructed by Shah Jahan in 1638, followed by a visit to Jama Masjid—the largest mosque in India—renowned for its impressive domes. Stop by Raj Ghat, the solemn memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Experience a traditional rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, Delhi’s oldest market, and savour authentic street food along the way.
In the afternoon, explore New Delhi, starting with Humayun’s Tomb, a beautiful example of Mughal architecture and the resting place of Emperor Humayun. Continue to Qutub Minar, the world’s tallest brick minaret, built in 1206 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak. Then enjoy a drive past the iconic government buildings, including the Secretariat, Parliament House, and India Gate—a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers.
End the day with a visit to Connaught Place in central Delhi, a historic shopping hub known for its colonial-era architecture. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 : New Delhi - Agra
After breakfast, begin your journey to Agra by car, located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Agra is steeped in history and is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri. En route, stop at Sikandra to visit the tomb of Emperor Akbar. Upon arrival in Agra, check into your hotel.
Later, visit the iconic Taj Mahal — one of the Seven Wonders of the World — built by Emperor Shah Jahan between 1632 and 1652 in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. This magnificent white marble monument continues to captivate visitors with its timeless beauty. (Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.)
Afterward, explore the Agra Fort, a massive red sandstone structure spread over 94 acres, renowned for its impressive gates and historical significance. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
After breakfast, begin your journey to Jaipur, stopping en route to explore Fatehpur Sikri. Located 37 km from Agra, this city is built primarily of red sandstone and was commissioned by Emperor Akbar in honor of the Sufi saint Salim Chishti. The magnificent city features an 11-kilometer-long fortification with numerous gateways. However, it was abandoned after just 15 years due to a shortage of water. Upon arriving in Jaipur in the late evening, you will check into your hotel. You may either take a brief orientation tour of the city or simply relax. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 5 : In Jaipur
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is famously known as the “Pink City” due to the pink-hued buildings of its historic old town. Begin your exploration with a visit to the majestic Amber Fort, perched atop a hill. The fort’s splendor is highlighted by its stunning palaces, lush gardens, and intricate temples adorned with elaborate mirror work. Next, proceed to Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory built in 1727 by Maharaja Jai Singh II. The final stop for the day is the iconic Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, constructed in 1799. Designed to allow cool breezes to circulate throughout, this architectural marvel is also made of distinctive pink sandstone. In the evening, you may choose to stroll through the vibrant local markets before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6 : Jaipur - Bikaner
Drive from Jaipur to Bikaner. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and then head out to explore the majestic Junagarh Fort. Founded in 1488 by Rao Bika Ji, Bikaner is steeped in history. The Junagarh Fort, built in 1593 by Raja Rai Singh, showcases an impressive fusion of Mughal, Rajput, and Gujarati architectural styles. Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 7 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Drive to the enchanting city of Jaisalmer, where the golden hues of its sandstone fort, palaces, and havelis will captivate you upon arrival. Reach Jaisalmer by late evening and check in at the hotel. Spend a relaxed evening at leisure and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 8 : In Jaisalmer
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort, built in 1156 by Raja Jaisal. Its golden and yellow sandstone construction gives it a magical, glowing appearance. Continue to Nathmal-Ji-Ki-Haveli, an exquisite yellow sandstone structure that reflects the rich architectural heritage of ancient times. Next, explore Patwon-Ki-Haveli, a five-storied marvel featuring long corridors and intricately decorated walls adorned with traditional Rajput art and design. In the evening, enjoy a walk to the Khuri sand dunes to witness a breathtaking sunset. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 9 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
After breakfast, begin your journey to Jodhpur by car. Arrive in the city by afternoon and check into your hotel. Jodhpur’s rich heritage is reflected in its majestic forts, palaces, and historic monuments. Start your sightseeing with the grand Mehrangarh Fort, built in 1459 by Rao Jodha, perched atop a 150-meter-high hill. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph crafted from white marble, which houses rare portraits of former rulers. Return to the hotel in the evening to relax and enjoy your overnight stay.
Day 10 : Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur
The morning will be devoted to a surface journey to Udaipur, with an en-route stop to visit the renowned Jain temples at Ranakpur. Built in 1439 during the reign of Rana Kumbha, the main temple is dedicated to the first Tirthankara, Adinath. This four-faced temple, adorned with intricate stone carvings, is truly breathtaking and is considered one of the most important Jain pilgrimage sites in India. Arrive in Udaipur by late evening and check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 11 : In Udaipur
After breakfast, embark on a half-day city tour of Udaipur, renowned for its picturesque lakes, gardens, temples, and forts that showcase stunning architectural splendor. Begin your tour with a visit to the ancient Eklingji Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, known for its pyramid-shaped roof and intricately carved towers. Continue to the Nagda Temple, dating back to 646 AD. In the afternoon, explore more of Udaipur, starting with the majestic City Palace, home to an impressive collection of ancient artifacts, sculptures, and inscriptions. Then, visit the Crystal Museum, featuring a dazzling display of rare crystal pieces. For a moment of relaxation, enjoy a peaceful stroll through Saheliyon Ki Bari, a beautiful garden adorned with green lawns, marble art, and elegant fountains. Conclude the tour with a visit to the historic Jagat Temple, built in 961 AD. Return to the hotel for a restful evening and overnight stay.
Day 12 : Udaipur - New Delhi
In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival, our representative will receive you and escort you to the airport hotel, where you can relax in the lobby until evening. You may also use this time for some last-minute shopping in Delhi. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to the international terminal for your onward flight.
Day 13 : Leave New Delhi
